Returns & Exchanges Policy
We take pride in our products and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Please review our policies below to ensure a smooth process for your returns or exchanges.
1. Standard Returns & Refunds
If you change your mind or are unsatisfied with your item, you may request a return or refund within 30 days of the delivery date.
 * Shipping & Handling: An $8 shipping fee will be applied to all standard returns and deducted from your final refund amount.
 * Condition: Items must be returned in their original, unused condition to qualify for a refund.
2. Defect Exchanges
If your item arrives with a manufacturing defect, we will provide a one-to-one exchange at no cost to you.
 * Timeline: Exchange requests for defective items must be submitted within 7 days of the delivery date.
 * No Fees: There are no shipping fees for exchanges involving defective merchandise.
 * Verification: We require clear photos of the defect to process your exchange.
3. Defining Defects vs. Wear & Tear
To qualify for a free exchange, the issue must be a result of a manufacturing error rather than usage or handling.
What Qualifies as a Defect:
 * Structural Failures: Broken zippers, missing hardware, or non-functional components upon arrival.
 * Material Flaws: Holes, significant snags, or major discoloration present before the item is used.
 * Construction Issues: Open seams or loose stitching where fabric was not joined correctly.
 * Graphic Errors: Significant misprints or peeling on branded designs.
What is Considered Normal Wear & Tear (Not Eligible for Free Exchange):
 * Accidental Damage: Rips, snags, or stains that occur after the item is removed from packaging.
 * Laundering Issues: Shrinking or color bleeding caused by washing.
 * Fit & Preference: Choosing the wrong size or deciding you dislike the style (these fall under our Standard Return policy, and the $8 fee will apply).
4. How to Start a Request
To begin a return or exchange, please contact us at swampelephantstshirts@gmail.com with your order number and the reason for your request. For defect claims, please include a photo of the issue so we can resolve it as quickly as possible.
